Canon India is celebrating its 20th anniversary. That is the origin of a photo-story contest. And thus unfolds the Story of Kyosei. The context of the contest is to celebrate Canon’s corporate philosophy of Kyosei. Two successful decades of operations in India definitely embarks the celebrations. What other ways to celebrate the occasion for a company that is the world leader in professional DSLR cameras and other technology products? In fact, Story of Kyosei is an online Photo story contest. The word Kyosei in Japanese means living ad working in harmony for a common goal in life. And that goal has no relevance with race, religion, or culture.
[sociallocker id=”1977″]The Story of Kyosei is, in fact, a unique challenge for photography enthusiasts across India. The participants will have to tell their Story via their creative understanding of the subject. As a matter of fact, the contest is in line with Digital India concept. The sole purpose behind this endeavor is to promote the photo culture in India. The contest will run for 30 days during which participants will get 20 visual hints. On the basis of these visual hints, they will have to submit their entries. These visual hints, in turn, will directly derive from the pillars of the Kyosei philosophy.

The photo contest “Story of Kyosei” is divided into 20 visual hints. Through this one story would be created. And the winning photographs of each visual hint will be compiled into a video story. The winner of each visual hint stands to win our premium compact camera PowerShot G9X. It will be interesting to see the way people in the country perceive our philosophy.“
The Story of Kyosei contest starting 30th January will run until March 3, 2017. Canon is expecting more than 10,000 contestants to participate.
