Kudos to the entrepreneurship spirit of Gaurav Goel, Owner, Peninsular Kitchen at Vasant Kunj. He dared to end his 21 years salaried journey and start it. It has been almost 15 months and Gaurav in more than enthusiastic to discuss his journey with Peninsular Kitchen. So far, the level of satisfaction attained is more than expected. Secondly, the popularity gained during this small tenure is fabulous. Thirdly, he has a concrete plan about his further plans. Soon this man will make this name as popular all across NCR as it is in South Delhi area by opening more outlets of Peninsular Kitchen. Next, the outlets will be seen in various cities of India.
As Gaurav shared, it is a result of one and a half year of research before zeroing down to this theme. After a long study, he finally came to a conclusion of opening a restaurant with a real coastal and south Indian culinary. And it has worked really well. He has made his dreams come true.
The beautifully decorated restaurant Peninsular Kitchen is at Level 3 of Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The moment you enter the mall at ground level take escalators on your right rather than using lift. At level 3, the restaurant is just on your right, just before Pizza Express.
Peninsular Kitchen – A Real Coastal Flavor
As the name suggests, the theme is purely coastal and South Indian dishes. And the food really tastes well, in a real sense, as it does in the coastal areas. Mini Idlis in starters is not to miss all. In the main course, must tries are Malabar Parathas, Chicken Chettinad, and Goan Fish. Though other recipes are equally tasty in their original sense. Don’t miss Bebinka with ice cream.
Last but not the least, depending on your choice and taste, do try mocktails and cocktails that are unique in preparation and taste.
