The word Nagai denotes longevity, health, and wellness. And that says it all. Nagai is beyond any regular restaurant. It is, in fact, an experience to relish and preserve as your precious dine-in memories. And who says you have to visit only once. Because every visit there brings in a new set of experience. This is a piece of beauty in all aspects. Whether it is interiors, ambiance, food, presentation, or service; everything is a class apart. Since it is a classic piece of beauty, it needs its own space to sparkle and glitter. That is the reason it is away from the crowd of restaurants in Sector 29, though it is not far off from that place. I would call it a beauty of solace creating its own aura and radiance. Nagai has a two-way entry. It promises to deliver 100% authentic Asian, Sushi, and Japanese food.
Nagai has an outdoor seating that is quite serene and quiet to enjoy your drinks and food. And also if you wish to smoke, you will have to occupy space outdoors only. This place offers Sake drinks beside a unique collection of wines and other drinks. As a matter of fact, it is an International exclusive chain of Japanese food. Indoor seating is sofas and chairs that are quite comfortable. The place promises you an experience no less than world class. There is an exclusive section indoors where you can sit on the floor and enjoy the food. Like the Japanese do. Every starter at Nagai has its own style of crockery and cutlery that gives it a royal touch and you a royal experience. The chain of restaurants belongs to Chef Reina Nagai. The authenticity of food is all about its appearance, taste, and smell.
Nagai Is A Great Food Experience
Well, my order at Nagai is as follows. Miso Soup- Spinach, Tom Kha Coco – Veg, Aubergine Roll, Gyoza – Chicken, Kushiyaki – Salmon, Tempura – Prawn, Spicy Crispy – Tuna, Yaki Udon – Chicken, Pad Kra Pao – Chicken, Japanese Curry – Chicken, Coconut Pannacotta, elderflower stripzer (Regular), Sheryl temple (Regular), Hojicha, Genmaicha, Sencha. The last three are different varieties of herbal tea. One is the regular green tea, second is roasted rice flavor, and the third one is some additional herbs. All three are good. Let me tell you one thing. This is a fine dine restaurant. Hence if you weigh quantity more than taste and presentation then think twice before visiting here. But if you wish to experience royal and authentic Japanese food, then you must visit this place. All the dishes are special and unique.
Food styling is one of the specialty at Nagai. That way, everything is so perfect. Every dish has its own accompanying sauce. Basically, it is an altogether different kind of experience. Good thing is that for Brunch and Lunch there is buffet option that has three variants. Depending on the number of dishes or courses, the cost varies. But then it is worth attempting to have authentic Japanese food. At dinner it is ala carte.
