Bharat Parv is a festival to celebrate our country’s 70 years of Independence. The festival aims to adopt the momentum in Unity and Integrity amongst the people of the country. In fact, that is the demand of time. As a matter of fact, this is quite an important issue to address today. Venkaiah Naidu, Minister for Information & Broadcasting inaugurates Photo Exhibition – Azadi 70 – Yaad Karo Qurbani. It is a right occasion to do it. What better could it be than this? Sometimes very critical messages do not reach all the people of the country. But this seems to be the right message, at the right time. In addition, this is related to all the people of the country.
As a part of the celebration of Bharat Parv, the Government is launching a massive agenda. This agenda includes a visit of 75 Ministers all over the country. They shall be visiting the birthplace of great heroes of the country. In addition, they will also visit places of historical importance. In fact, these places will include Kakori, Jallianwala Bagh, etc. While inaugurating the Azadi 70 – Yaad Karo Qurbani photo exhibition, Naidu remembers heroes of the freedom fightings. Furthermore, the launch was at the Rajpath Lawn in New Delhi.
Bharat Parv is a great initiative
Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore, Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting was also gracing the occasion. In addition Ajay Mittal, Secretary I&B, was also present at the event. Bharat Parv is an important message towards unity of the country. The minister reminds the younger generation (Gen Y) to come forward and set an example in the world. The young generation must take inspiration from the great leaders of the country. Moreover, they should take onus in keeping the traditions and culture of the country alive. As a matter of fact, it has nothing to do with caste, sex, race, creed, region, and religion. Most importantly, it is One Nation, One People, and One Country. The country is celebrating Bharat Parv at Rajpath Lawns, New Delhi from August 12 to August 18. On this launch event the minister explains the unique features of India.
The most important feature of our country is Unity in Diversity. In fact, that is the specialty of our country. In other words, it is:
“Alag Bhasha, Alag Bhesh,
Phir bhi Apna Ek Desh.
Vividhta Mein Ekta,
Bharat Ki Visheshta.”
The exhibition is open to the public from Aug 12 to Aug 18. Moreover, the entry is free. The timings are 2pm to 9pm everyday. In all, there are 70 exhibition panels. In addition there are more than 300 photographs highlighting the freedom struggle. And these photographs also relate to nation building activities since 1947. There are two broad sections of the exhibition. The first section is covering the period 1857 to 1947. While 1857 was the time of first war of Independence, 1947 is the time of independence. Moreover, it shows the spread of public angst from Bengal to South India.
Bharat Parv is a must attend event
The second section highlights the important incidents since independence. For instance, it includes the adoption of the Constitution, Pokhran test and so on. It also highlights various achievements in Science and Sports. Moreover, there have been tremendous changes in the country in last two years. That includes changes in the work culture, an increase in bondings with other countries of the world, etc. The exhibition also brings into light the freedom fighters who are not very popular but have a great contributions. There are rate photographs in the exhibition that make it a must attend. Also, there is an exhibition of books on India’s freedom struggle. While the books are for display, you can also buy them.
